The Board of FSC International has established a Permanent Indigenous Peoples’ Committee (PIPC), consisting of representatives of Indigenous Peoples from all regions of the world. PIPC has been functioning for around 5 years now, and new members need to be nominated and appointed. At the same time, an operational office for the PIPC established to strengthen PIPC’s functions in FSC, needs to be set up to become functional.
Reporting to the FSC Director General, the Indigenous Peoples Officer will support the successful collaboration between FSC, the PIPC and Indigenous Peoples’ Networks.
