It is about sharing the message of celebration to enable more people to recognize the value of forests.

On 28 September help us turn the tide against global deforestation!

Every year the threats to our forests increase, including environmental change and illegal logging. For over 20 years, FSC has worked to take care of forests and the people, plants, and animal species that depend on them. The FSC label assures that wood, paper, and other forest products have been responsibly sourced from well-managed forests and recycled materials.

On 28 September 2018, organizations, schools, FSC certificate holders, members, and partners around the world will host a series of events designed to support, celebrate and raise awareness of responsible forest management and the role that FSC plays in it.  Last year, businesses, schools and environmental groups in over 30 countries took part.

On FSC Friday everyone is invited to celebrate and help take care of the world’s forests.
FSC wants to engage consumers to think responsibly when purchasing forest products.

By choosing FSC, consumers are supporting the responsible management of the world’s forests to ensure they exist for our children, for biodiversity and for the communities which depend on them. Consumers really can make a difference to the world’s forests just by taking the time to check for the FSC logo.

Visit the FSC Friday 2018 webpage to find out how you can join the event and mark 28 September in your calendar as the day to celebrate Forests For All Forever!
