Recently requested that the FSC International Board of Directors extend the deadline for publishing the controlled wood strategy from December 2018 to March 2019. The FSC International Board of Directors approved this extension.
The controlled wood strategy process advisory group requested an extension to ensure sufficient time for analysing the results of the consultation on the future of ‘FSC Mix’ products and the controlled wood used to produce them.
We will continue working on the strategy document, taking into account the opinions expressed in the meeting in Lisbon in June and the consultation. However, the final publication date will be March 2019 and not December 2018, as it was previously established.
